Toni Braxton and famed music producer/singer Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds commiserate over their broken hearts on their debut single “Hurt You.”

The emotional tune begins with a soft piano and Babyface singing, “Loving you has caused me so much pain/but you don’t see it/you never see it” before Braxton launches into the drum-heavy chorus “God knows I never meant to hurt you/I never meant to break your heart.”

The single, which was written by Babyface, Braxton, Daryl Simmons and Antonio Dixon,  is featured on the award-winning duo’s upcoming album titled 'Love, Marriage & Divorce'due out December 3.
The duo, which previously collaborated on Braxton’s hits “Breathe Again” and “Another Sad Love Song,” recently reunited in the studio to produce a duets album about love and heartbreak. A topic they’ve both experienced.

“I think because Babyface and I have both gone through divorces, we can relate and we can collaborate together on this topic and make it so others who have gone through this situation can relate,” Braxton said in an interview with Los Angeles radio station, 94.7 The WAVE.
