Celebrity DJ's unite for Breast Cancer Awareness Event through Music

Celebrity DJ's DJ B-Hen (DJ from Good Morning America), DJ D-Nice, Vashtie, Quiana Parks, along with their celebrity friends join together in support to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month through music.

The 2nd Annual Beats to Beat Breast Cancer is kicking off the month of October by hosting an annual multi-city event to help spread awareness and raise funds to support American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) which works tirelessly to eradicate the disease.

"When my mother, Tracy Henry was only 35 years old, I lost her to a 14-month battle with breast cancer. She inspired me to not only live a life of passion and purpose, but to also dedicate my talents to preventing the impacts of this devastating disease... so I have asked my fellow DJ's to help me do just that through music," says DJ B-Hen.

Other Celebrity DJ's In Support: MC Lyte, DJ Moma, DJ Young 1, DJ Kiss, Quick Silva, Spinser Tracy, DJ Korrect, Quiana Parks, Jayceeoh, Damage, Orator and Scratch Academy

MIGHTY REAL: A FABULOUS SYLVESTER MUSICAL, the musical celebration of the life and music of Sylvester (born Sylvester James, Jr.; September 6, 1947 - December 16, 1988), the original 1970s "Queen of Disco," proudly continues to keep the musical icon's legacy alive as it tours the country following its smash Off-Broadway premiere last September.
Anthony Wayne and Kendrell Bowman, creators and producers of MIGHTY REAL: A FABULOUS SYLVESTER MUSICAL, along with acclaimed stage and screen actress Sheryl Lee Ralph, who serves as the show's co-producer with her DIVA Foundation, are thrilled that Sylvester's classic "You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)"will be featured on the Season 2 Premiere of Fox's "Empire" airing Wednesday, September 23rd, 2015 at 9pm EST.
Lee Daniels attended MIGHTY REAL: A FABULOUS SYLVESTER MUSICAL during its Off-Broadway run last September at The Theatre at St. Clements with "Empire" star Naomi Campbell.
"It was thrilling for us to meet Lee and Naomi at the show last September.  Their enthusiasm and support of the show was beyond words. Lee told us he was so touched by Sylvester's story and we areso excited that he'll be featuring the classic "You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)" on Empire, as we strive to keep the legacy of this great artist -- and pioneer in the LGBTQ community -- alive. Disco Heat is spreading!," said MIGHTY REAL star, Anthony Wayne.
MIGHTY REAL is currently on tour with the next scheduled stop being a return engagement at The Brava Theater in San Francisco beginning February 17th, 2016.
Produced by AnthonyKen LLC and Sheryl Lee Ralph/The DIVA Foundation, MIGHTY REAL: A FABULOUS SYLVESTER MUSICAL is written by and stars Anthony Wayne (Pippin, Anything Goes, Priscilla Queen of the Desert) and is co-directed by Mr. Wayne and Kendrell Bowman, who also serves as the show's costume designer.  Wayne and Bowman were inspired to create the musical after seeing the "Unsung" documentary about the artist on TV One in 2010.  Moved by his story - by Sylvester's bravery to openly be who he was in an era in which that was not supported or encouraged by society - Mr. Wayne sought out his music.  Hooked, he discussed Sylvester's music and influence with Mr. Bowman and they both put their talents together with determination to bring the icon's story to the stage.

Who Signs An Artist On A Private Jet? Yo Gotti Signs Blac Youngsta To His Label CMG Like a Boss

Yo Gotti introduces South Memphis rapper Blac Youngsta as the latest addition to his label, CMG,  joining Snootie Wild
Blac Youngsta "I Swear To God" drops 9/24

"Blac Youngsta's style is unique and he has the energy to be a great entertainer," says Yo Gotti of his newest protégé. "His hustle and drive reminds me of myself, so I thought he'd be a perfect fit at CMG."
Growing up in Memphis in the 90s, Blac Youngsta, like many of his peers fell prey to the allure of the street life and gang culture but he always carried an interest in music and shifted to that after coming face to face with the consequences of his lifestyle.  An avid Yo Gotti fan, he dropped his first serious offering Fast Bricks as a consecutive trilogy in homage to Gotti's Cocaine Muzik mixtape series. "I was praying Yo Gotti would see me," he says.
While still recovering from a drive-by shooting that sidelined him for five months, Blac Youngsta released the street single "Heavy," which received a huge response from both the streets and the internet. The next step for him was to get Yo Gotti's attention. After parlaying his way into one of Gotti's videosBlac Youngsta landed a meeting with the CMG team and, within a few weeks, a meeting with Gotti himself, which led to an opportunity to tour with his idol for two months while still independent. Following the tour, Gotti decided that Blac Youngsta was ready and signed him immediately.
As Blac Youngsta preps the release of his next mixtape, I Swear To God, due out September 24th, Blac Youngsta's "Heavy" has been re-released and will be promoted as his major label debut single.  The single can be purchased on iTunes here.   And while his upcoming project is still a work in progress, Blac Youngsta is already thinking about his debut album.
"If anybody knows Gotti they know he's always in the studio," Blac Youngsta says. "And that's where you'll find me too."
Blac Youngsta's music combines his street philosophies with production that keeps the club shaking. It's a balance his mentor Yo Gotti knows all too well, and one Blac Youngsta is ready to release upon the world.
